Results of Training Placement in the Workshops

From 06.12 to 28.12.21, students of specialty 142 “Energy Engineering” completed their training placement in the workshops of OTPC ONAFT.

Students of group 2MKh-56, studying in the EP “Installation and Maintenance of Refrigeration and Compressor Machines and Units”, completed the metalwork and mechanical placement, while students of group 2KV-07, studying in the EP “Installation and Maintenance of Air Conditioning and Ventilation Systems”, completed the electrical installation placement.

The placement supervisors appointed were: in group 2MKh-56, the practical training instructor V. V. Borodulin; in group 2KV-07, the lecturer of specialised courses S. A. Burdiuzha.

Before the practical classes began, each student was issued documentation with a technical assignment. When carrying out individual technical assignments, students used metalworking tools (files, needle files, hacksaws), electrical equipment (electric motors, starting relays, connecting wires, ammeters and voltmeters, limit switches, starter circuit breakers), and lathes.

In carrying out the technical assignment, students of group 2MKh-56 practised the skills of using metalworking tools and working on a lathe.

In carrying out the technical assignment, students of group 2KV-07 practised the skills of assembling an electrical circuit from individual elements and determining the resistance of the windings of air conditioner and compressor motors.

Final assessment of the training placement was conducted in the form of a credit test.

Improving the quality of the practical component of the educational process and ensuring that students acquire the necessary skills and abilities is a priority of our institution.
