Instructions for Creating an Electronic Account

~3 min read 20 pages in this section

This year, applicants on the basis of basic secondary education (that is, after completing grade 9) will for the first time submit applications through personal electronic accounts, the registration of which starts on 23 June. This concerns those applying for the full-time (dual) form of study for Professional Junior Bachelor.

Personal electronic accounts are registered on the website https://vstup.edbo.gov.ua/

To create an account, you must provide:

The series and number of the education document;

The number (without series) of the identity document: a passport of a citizen of Ukraine, a passport of a citizen of Ukraine for travelling abroad, or a birth certificate.

You must also provide an e-mail address to which the applicant has access and which is not banned in the territory of Ukraine, and create a password for logging in to the account later.

Please note: the e-mail address provided will subsequently be used to activate the account and in the applicant's application, so it is important to enter it without errors.

In the account itself, you must upload the applicant's photo and, if available, a certificate confirming registration in a village (Appendix 13 or an extract from the register of the territorial community, including one generated on the Diia portal). This option is available only to applicants who completed school in a village in 2022.

Please note: the educational institution may use the photo uploaded to the account to order a student (pupil) ID card. Therefore, a “selfie” or an unsuitable photo should not be used!

The information entered can be edited until the first electronic application is submitted. Electronic applications will be open for submission from 30 June until 18:00 on 13 July.

Detailed instructions in text and video formats will be posted on the website https://vstup.edbo.gov.ua/

Please note:

the applicant's competitive score for a state-funded place this year consists of the results of an individual oral interview or a creative competition and the review of the motivation letter. The text of the motivation letter must be filled in in the account when submitting the application. If necessary, copies of materials (diplomas, awards) confirming the information stated in the letter must be sent to the e-mail addresses of the Admissions Committees of educational institutions given in the competitive offers;

the applicant may use the rural coefficient (RC), by which the competitive score is increased. The RC is 1.05. It is available to persons registered in a village who, in the year of admission, obtained basic secondary education at an educational institution located in a village. To confirm the RC, you must upload a scanned copy of the relevant certificate to the electronic account, as stated above.

You can apply for Professional Junior Bachelor with a document on basic secondary education, as well as on complete general (specialised) secondary education, and even on professional or higher education. With a number of exceptions, all applicants must register electronic accounts and submit applications in electronic form. The list of specialties with a creative competition for which you can apply for Professional Junior Bachelor can be found in Appendix 1 to the Procedure for admission to professional pre-higher education institutions in 2022.
