On 24 September 2025, group 1RP-12 (together with group tutor Kryvchenko Yu. V.) visited the Odesa Historical and Local Lore Museum.
Despite the difficult conditions and the need to observe safety measures, the students were able to visit one of the most valuable museums in Ukraine, located in the heart of Odesa.
The first part of the exhibition is devoted to the creation of “Steppe Ukraine” and presents materials of the historical museum, tells about the founders and activists of this movement and the traditions of museum work. The collection display of paintings of the Cossack era recreates the interior of a Ukrainian manor and is a continuation of the museum's living ensemble.
The second part of the exhibition presents the material and spiritual culture of the main ethnic groups of the region through the creation of residential complexes. Each complex presents a national costume, woven items, tableware, furniture, farm implements and decorative and applied art items.
The excursion to the Odesa Historical and Local Lore Museum became for the students not only a source of new knowledge but also an important stage in forming historical awareness and cultural identity. Such encounters with the past inspire young people to value their heritage, understand the depth of national traditions and realise their role in preserving the memory of generations.
