With the aim of fostering ecological awareness, a caring attitude to nature and promoting environmental knowledge, Ecology Week was held at our College from 3 to 7 November 2025, initiated by the lecturers of the Subject Committee for Food Technology and Chemistry.
Throughout the week, students took part in educational events, themed quizzes, the environmental poster competition “Let Us Save This Amazing World”, and screenings of environmental films about current environmental problems of Ukraine and the world.
An environmental landscaping campaign was held on the College grounds, during which the students demonstrated an active civic position by joining in cleaning and greening the study space.
The exhibition of the students’ creative works attracted attention with the originality of its execution and the depth of its ecological ideas. At the end of the week, the most active participants were recognised with letters of thanks from the organisers of the events.
The Department of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Odesa Regional State Administration noted that holding Ecology Week was an important step in fostering in students a responsible attitude to nature, love for their native land and the desire to preserve the world around them.
