28–29 September 2026, a powerful two-day intensive international cybersecurity training took place in Kyiv! We are very proud that a student of our institution, Valentyn Pochotov, a student of group 4KB-04 (form tutor — Natalia Krasnienko), took part in this prestigious event.
How it went and why it was great? Read the key points:
Digital intensive for professionals: Future and current network defenders completed serious training to learn how to instantly detect and block hacker attacks.
An alliance for security: The event brought together top international and Ukrainian leaders of the cyber front. The training was organised by ESTDEV, the National Cybersecurity Coordination Centre under the NSDC of Ukraine, the e-Governance Academy and the company CybExer.
Maximum practice, no fluff: The main highlight of the training was real-world experience. Participants immediately applied the theory they received in practice, analysing logs and network traffic in real time.
Weapons against hackers: Students and analysts mastered leading free protection tools (open-source), which are the gold standard in global cybersecurity.
Four steps to cyber resilience: The programme covered critically important skills: from exchanging threat data in MISP and analysing logs in Kibana to tracking anomalies with Wireshark and scanning networks with Nmap.
Fully ready for battle: Participants worked on their own laptops in the “combat” conditions of laboratory work, so that they can effectively protect the information space and critical infrastructure of Ukraine today!
Congratulations to Valentyn on his valuable experience and professional development! Together towards a safe digital future!
