An engaging educational lecture entitled "Potato Chips: Production Secrets", devoted to the specific features of food concentrate production, was held for students of specialty G13 Food Technology. The lecture was delivered by Viktoriia Yuriivna Tolstykh, Candidate of Technical Sciences and Associate Professor at the Department of Technology of Grain Products, Bread and Confectionery of Odesa National University of Technology.
During the lecture, students had the opportunity to look behind the scenes of the production of one of the most popular snacks and learn about the classification of potato chips, the characteristics of the raw materials, the main stages of the technological process, and the secrets of obtaining a product with a distinctive taste, aroma and crispy texture.
Such meetings help combine theoretical knowledge with the practical aspects of food technology, broaden the professional horizons of future specialists and inspire them to continue studying their chosen specialty.
