Today another meeting of the Speaking Club for students of our College took place, namely for group 3RP-11 under the guidance of lecturer Khil O. P., as part of the international Go Global! programme.
This time the students had a wonderful opportunity to talk with Helen Elizabeth Blow from London and get to know more closely the culture, traditions and features of the United Kingdom.
During the meeting, participants discussed interesting facts about Great Britain, its customs, everyday life and the most common stereotypes about the British. The students had the chance to find out which familiar ideas about British culture are true and which are simply widespread myths.
The meeting was held in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere and became an excellent opportunity for students to improve their English speaking skills, enrich their vocabulary, overcome the language barrier and broaden their intercultural outlook.
