Completion of the training placement for second-year students of specialties F7 “Computer Graphics and Web Design” and “Security of Computer Systems and Networks”.
The students successfully completed their first training placement, the aim of which was to master the skills needed to work in copy centres and offices and as digital documentation operators. The placement programme was intensive, applied and as close as possible to real working conditions.
The focus was on practical proficiency with modern software:
- MS Word – creating, editing and formatting documents.
- MS Excel – working with spreadsheets and formulas, building charts.
- MS Access – databases, queries, reports.
- MS Visio – building schemes, diagrams, drawings.
- MS PowerPoint – presentations for defending projects.
- Adobe Acrobat – preparing and editing PDF documents.
The final stage was the preparation and printing of a report, which gave admission to the defence of the placement. The students demonstrated not only technical skills, but also the ability to work in a team, to follow formatting standards and to present the results of their work.
The defence of the placement is the first step towards professional development.
