On 28 August, students of group 3MK-23, studying in the specialty “Light Industry Technologies”, held an open-air painting class, choosing locations in Dyukivskyi Park. The aim of the class was to become acquainted with watercolour techniques and to apply the knowledge gained in practice.
Under the guidance of lecturers Polina KUZNETSOVA and Yana LANOVENKO, the students created landscape studies, exploring how natural light changes colours and shades. They learned to convey the play of light and shadow, the depth of space and the atmosphere of the park. The work turned out to be so engaging that it attracted the attention of students of group 2KV-12 of the specialty “Energy Production” (“Installation and Maintenance of Air Conditioning and Ventilation Systems”), who, becoming interested in the creative process, decided to join the class. This spontaneous coming together of students of different specialties became an excellent example of interdisciplinary cooperation. The young men from “Energy Production” gladly tried their hand at painting, discovering new creative horizons for themselves.
The class became not only an educational but also a social experience, proving that art is able to unite and inspire. A shared creative process promotes informal communication, the exchange of ideas and the broadening of horizons.
