With the aim of fostering patriotism, national consciousness and respect for the cultural heritage of the Ukrainian people, and of shaping the spiritual values and aesthetic tastes of student youth, a tutorial session on “Outstanding Ukrainian Figures of Culture and Arts” was held for groups 1KB-07, 2FB-06 (lecturer N. M. Komar) and group 2RP-12 (lecturer I. M. Rudets)
During the event, students got acquainted with the lives and work of outstanding representatives of Ukrainian culture and arts who made a significant contribution to the development of national and world cultural heritage.
Particular attention was paid to Taras Shevchenko, Ivan Franko, Lesya Ukrainka, Mykola Lysenko, Solomiya Krushelnytska, Les Kurbas, Vasyl Stus, Lina Kostenko and other outstanding Ukrainians whose creative achievements have become an integral part of Ukraine's cultural heritage. Students learned about the significance of their activities for the development of literature, music, fine arts and the formation of national identity.
During the tutorial session, the significance of Ukrainian culture in the modern world was discussed, as well as its role in preserving historical memory, spiritual traditions and national identity. It was emphasised that the work of outstanding Ukrainian figures is a source of inspiration for the younger generation, helps them recognise their cultural roots and fosters a sense of pride in their country.
The event broadened students' horizons, developed interest in national cultural heritage, cultivated a respectful attitude towards the achievements of the Ukrainian people and an understanding of the importance of preserving and promoting Ukrainian culture.
The tutorial session “Outstanding Ukrainian Figures of Culture and Arts” contributed to the formation of national and patriotic values, the spiritual enrichment of students and an increase in their interest in the history and culture of Ukraine.
