An educational class hour was held in group 2KS-61 on a topic that concerns everyone – infections, HIV/AIDS and how to protect yourself.
The group tutor Anastasiia Kryvchenko held a frank, substantive and accessible conversation with the students. They discussed how infections are transmitted, what is worth knowing about first relationships, and how to preserve health and respect for yourself and others.
Why is this important?
The topic of infections is not just a medical one. It is about responsibility, about the ability to make adult decisions, about caring for yourself and your loved ones. Discussing it means shaping mature, conscious young people who know how to act safely.
What the students learned:
- How exactly infections are transmitted – not only through sexual contact, but also through kisses, blood and failure to observe hygiene.
- What is not dangerous – hugs, shared dishes, the swimming pool.
- How to recognise risky situations and avoid them.
- Practical advice: how to use protection, where to get tested, how to talk to a partner about health.
- The realisation that to know is not shameful but wise, and that people with HIV can live full lives.
We thank the students for their activity, openness and mature attitude to important topics.
Knowledge is protection. Respect yourself – protect yourself.
