Since 2019, as part of cooperation between the Separate Structural Subdivision “Odesa Technical Professional College of Odesa National University of Technology” and Lyceum No. 3 “M. P. Huzyk’s Author School” (Pivdenne), the “Lyceum–College–University” educational and methodological complex has been operating. Senior pupils of the lyceum (grades 10–11), alongside obtaining complete general secondary education at the lyceum, receive professional specialised educational training at the College, after which they have the opportunity to enter the College to study on a shortened programme for the educational and professional degree of “Professional Junior Bachelor”.
On 8 November 2025, the lyceum pupils visited the College on an excursion, where they were hosted by lecturers of the Subject Committee for Computer Technologies and Software Engineering. The lecturers gave career-guidance lectures and prepared interesting master classes within the framework of the educational and professional programmes “Computer Graphics and Web Design”, “Security of Computer Systems and Networks”, “Maintenance of Computer Systems and Networks” (specialty F7 Computer Engineering) and “Software Development” (specialty F2 Software Engineering), introduced the prospective students to the College’s facilities, computer classrooms, electrical installation workshops and specialised laboratories, and demonstrated the operation of various training stands, graphics tablets, a 3D printer and more.
The lyceum pupils met the College administration and had the opportunity to ask questions of interest to them. At the end of the visit, a “sweet table” awaited them, where the lecturers treated the visitors to delicacies they had made themselves.
The meeting was interesting and substantive, and the conversation took place in a relaxed, cosy and friendly atmosphere. Both sides were satisfied and agreed to organise such events in the future. Until the next meeting!
