Oleksii Zalapin, together with 3rd-year students of group KB-04, specialty F7 Computer Engineering, EPP "Security of Computer Systems and Networks", visited the modern “Kobi Software Project Laboratory” at the State University of Intelligent Technologies and Telecommunications.
The laboratory was created in partnership with a Ukrainian developer of video analytics and security systems and is equipped with the latest technologies already used at critical infrastructure facilities.
The students familiarised themselves with practical solutions in the areas of licence plate recognition, face identification, incident detection and behaviour analysis. This allows future cybersecurity and computer engineering specialists to gain not only theoretical knowledge but also practical skills in working with real tools that shape the modern security system of cities and enterprises.
The visit was an important step in the students' professional training, as they saw how innovative technologies combine cyber protection and video analytics to create a safe environment.
