From 19 to 21 February, in Kyiv, as part of the Expo Ukraine exhibition, the ChillPro Tech Students Awards 2025 professional skills competition among students in the field of low-temperature equipment took place.
This competition is a unique opportunity for future specialists not only to become acquainted with innovative technologies and materials, but also to demonstrate their own knowledge and skills and their readiness to work with the resources of the future.
Competition participants:
OTPC ONTU was represented in the competition by students of the Energy Systems Division studying in the EPPs “Installation and Maintenance of Refrigeration and Compressor Machines and Units” and “Installation and Maintenance of Air Conditioning and Ventilation Systems”:
1. Vitalii Sekret – group 4MKh-57 (main team)
2. Andrii Dmytrenko – group 3KV-09 (main team)
3. Maksym Tymofieiev – group 4MKh-57 (reserve team)
4. Oleksandr Mochalov – group 3MKh-58 (reserve team)
Format of the competition – carrying out a complete installation of refrigeration equipment, which includes the following operations:
- manufacturing a heat exchanger;
- installing main pipelines;
- connecting an air conditioner to the automation system and pipelines;
- assembling an electrical control cabinet and configuring the automatic control system;
- performing commissioning and dismantling operations.
Based on the total points across all stages of the competition, the College team took 4th place.
The sponsoring companies of the competition are leaders in the production of industrial refrigeration equipment in Ukraine; they acted as strategic partners of the event and in every way supported the desire of young specialists to develop in the field of industrial cooling.
