On 27–28 November and 1 December 2025, lecturers of the subject committee for specialised light industry courses of Separate Structural Subdivision “Odesa Technical Professional College of ONTU”, Kuznetsova P. V. and Lapchak S. M., took part in introductory events for the 3D4U Hub educational and research network.
The network of three 3D hubs, created within the framework of the international ERASMUS+ CBHE project “3D Concepts for Fashion Education in Ukraine” (3D4U), begins operating in 2025 at Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design (KNUTD); Lutsk National Technical University (LNTU); and Khmelnytskyi National University (KhNU).
The 3D4U Hub has been created as a centre concentrating advanced digital technologies (virtual design, 3D modelling, scanning and prototyping). It opens up to students, lecturers and fashion industry specialists access to mastering the full production cycle in digital form – from the birth of a concept to the physical 3D printing of a finished sample.
For the lecturers of OTPC ONTU, this initiative is a valuable opportunity for training and professional development in 3D technologies, for integrating advanced knowledge into the College’s educational process, and for building connections and taking part in joint educational and research projects.
