Themed hour for Programmers' Day in group 1RP-12

On 17.09.25, for International Programmers' Day, a themed discussion hour on the topic “What Do I Know About My Chosen Profession?” was held in group 1RP-12 (group tutor — Kryvchenko Yurii). The event aimed to familiarise students of the new intake with the specifics of their future professional activity and the current challenges of the IT industry.

During the meeting, the lecturers of specialised courses — members of the educational programme support group of the educational and professional programme — were introduced. They shared their experience, outlined the key areas of specialist training, spoke about the requirements of the modern labour market and the opportunities opened up by studying in the chosen specialty.

The students were able to ask questions, voice their own expectations and receive expert answers regarding prospects for professional development. Particular attention was paid to building motivation to study, developing soft skills and understanding the role of the programmer as a creator of the digital future.

The event took place in a constructive, friendly atmosphere, helping to establish communication between students and teaching staff, as well as to form students' professional identity.
