On the eve of Education Workers’ Day, I visited my alma mater, the technical school (Technical College), and my Chief Teacher N. P. Litvin, to whom I came to study as a 14-year-old youth and who gave me a path into the big life. Every time I visit the Food Industry Technical School – today the Odesa Technical Professional College of ONTU – it is a true return to my youth and student years, with special, incomparable emotions. At the solemn event, a concert for Education Workers’ Day, I greeted the College’s teaching staff on my own behalf and on behalf of the Odesa Regional Council, and presented Certificates of Honour, Letters of Appreciation and Distinctions of the Regional Council to the institution’s employees. The College has suffered from shelling by Russian aggressors, but it is very pleasing that even now more than 1,000 students study there, and the institution enjoys attention and demand among young people and parents.
I wish our alma mater, the Temple of Education, progress and development!
