Educational event – Music of Great Britain

On 29 October, Nataliia Zamoshnikova, a lecturer of the Subject Committee for Philology Courses, held an educational event with the participation of second- and third-year students on the topic “Music of Great Britain”.

During the event, the students learned about current trends and key stages in the development of British music, became familiar with the principles by which different genres are formed (from rock to electronic music) and with the importance of cultural context for understanding the influence of British performers on the world stage.

The students demonstrated excellent English language skills and deep knowledge of the culture of Great Britain.

We would like to express special thanks to the students studying under the educational and professional programme “IT Marketing and Business Communications”: (Mykhailo Vlasiuk 3IM-06, Valeriia Landina 3IM-06, Diana Ivanova 3IM-06).

Students studying under the educational and professional programme “Finance, Banking and Internet Banking” also distinguished themselves: (Nadiia Senchyshyna 2FB-06 and Danylo Savich 2FB-06).

We also thank the students Fedir Karych 3KG-10 and Kira Mokra 3MI-04.

The high level of the event was ensured thanks to the professionalism of Nataliia Yevhenivna Zamoshnikova, her competence, creativity, perseverance and impeccable organisation.

Holding such meetings helps students to form a modern view of English-speaking culture, develop practical listening skills and improve their general erudition and communicative competence.
