On 12 March 2025, the Economics Olympiad, organised by lecturers of the Subject Committee for Economics and Commodity Science, took place at Odesa Technical Professional College. The event aimed to identify the best experts in economics, increase students’ motivation to study the subject and develop practical skills in solving economic problems.
Twenty students from various specialties took part in the Olympiad. The competition consisted of two stages: theoretical testing and solving applied economic problems.
The winners of the Olympiad were:
1st place – Valeriia Silenko (group 2OB-06);
2nd place – Anastasiia Chelebii (group 2IM-06);
3rd place – Anhelina Isaieva (group 3OB-05);
Denys Vytoporenko (group 4MKh-57);
Anna Chmykh (group 2OB-05);
The winners received diplomas, and all participants received certificates of participation.
“This Olympiad was a great opportunity for students to test their knowledge and apply it in practice,” said the Olympiad organiser, Olena Shymko.
