On 4 June 2026, a scientific and practical seminar was held for students of specialty G4.04 “Refrigeration Engineering and Air Conditioning Systems” with the participation of the regional service manager of the international company Conex Bänninger and the company’s representative in Eastern Europe, the Baltic states, Central Asia and Kazakhstan, Yevhen Bobukhov.

The company has more than 115 years of experience on the international market, and its products are successfully used in dozens of countries around the world. The company’s production facilities are located in Spain, Poland and Germany, and its staff numbers more than 900 highly qualified specialists.
During the seminar, Yevhen Bobukhov introduced the students to modern pipeline installation technologies widely used in refrigeration engineering and air conditioning systems. Particular attention was paid to the press-fit technology for joining copper pipes using the B MaxiPro system, which ensures high reliability, tightness and installation safety, and also allows a significant reduction in working time.
The practical part of the event aroused considerable interest among the students. Participants became acquainted with professional tools, the specifics of preparing copper pipes for installation and the technology of making press-fit joints. Everyone had the opportunity to perform pipe-joining operations themselves using modern Conex Bänninger connectors and to gain practical experience with equipment that is actively used today at the industry’s leading enterprises.
Holding such events helps to deepen students’ professional knowledge, develop practical competencies, familiarise them with modern technologies and strengthen cooperation between the college and leading international companies.
