With the aim of promoting Ukrainian poetry, cultivating love for the native word, fostering national identity and the spiritual development of students, a literary event “Reading Our Favourite Poems by Ukrainian Poets” was held at the College.
During the event, students of group 2FB-06 had the opportunity to share their favourite poetic works, recite verses by outstanding Ukrainian artists, and express their own thoughts and feelings evoked by the lines they had read.
Poems by Taras Shevchenko, Lesya Ukrainka, Ivan Franko, Lina Kostenko, Vasyl Symonenko and other Ukrainian poets were performed by the students. Particular attention was paid to works about love for Ukraine, the beauty of native nature, human dignity, sincere feelings, unbroken spirit and faith in the future.
Reading poetry was an excellent opportunity for students to feel the power of the Ukrainian word, the depth of national culture and the emotional expressiveness of the poetic art. Participants demonstrated artistry, expressive reading, interest in literature and respect for the creative heritage of Ukrainian writers.
