On 3 September, a class hour on the topic: "The Importance of Knowing the Constitution of Ukraine for Young People" was held in group 1TKh-82. The aim of the event was to introduce students to the fundamentals of the Constitution of Ukraine, to explain the importance of the Constitution in the life of a young person, and to foster respect for the state, its symbols, laws and human rights.
Students discussed the following questions:
- Imagine that in the College, in the city or in the country there were no rules at all. What would happen?
- Why is it important to know your rights?
- How does knowing your rights affect your personal future and the future of the country?
Students expressed their opinions and came to the general conclusion that rules are important for harmonious coexistence. On the scale of the state, such rules are the Constitution. Knowing the Constitution is not only about laws. It is about the dignity, freedom and protection of every person. The more we know about our rights, the less chance there is that someone will violate them. And it is also the first step towards responsible citizenship. Knowing your rights is the first step to freedom.
