The last weekend of April gave the students and lecturers of the Odesa Technical Professional College a true spring fairy tale. The excursion was organised by lecturers of the Physics and Mathematics Subject Committee, Zadorina O. M. and Lukashyn V. V., and took place jointly with students and lecturers of the IPMNIM of Ushynskyi University. Our expedition to the heart of Transcarpathia combined aesthetics and discovery.
Uzhhorod welcomed us in its most luxurious attire. We literally dissolved in the blossom of sakura, magnolia and paulownia trees, which turned the city into living scenery. However, the real discovery was a journey through time: the walls of the ancient Uzhhorod Castle and the authentic homesteads of the skansen (Museum of Architecture and Folk Life) “spoke” to us through the voice of a skilled guide, immersing us in the centuries-old heritage of the region.
A calm walk along the longest linden alley in Europe, along the Uzh River, was a time for reflection and inspiration. We are returning home with full hearts and a desire to discover new horizons of our beautiful Motherland!
