On 19 March, our contemporary, the outstanding Ukrainian poet, writer and public figure Lina Kostenko celebrates her birthday.
To mark the occasion, a creative event was held under the supervision of lecturer Alisa Yevhenivna Kopylova, attended by students of groups 1MK-25/MI-06 and 1TT-28/ML-01.
Each participant had the chance to feel like a co-author of a great artistic image. The students chose the lines by Lina Kostenko that resonated most in their hearts and transferred these words onto symbolic paper palms. Step by step, these “palms” with verses became feathers from which large shared wings grew. As a result, we got not just an installation but a manifesto that the Ukrainian word is our support and a source of inner freedom. The students also recited lines from Lina Vasylivna's poem of the same name, “Wings”.
