On 4 October, in group 1RP-11 of the Separate Structural Subdivision “Odesa Technical Professional College of ONTU”, under the guidance of group tutor M. M. Burundukova, an educational hour was held on the topic “Academic Integrity – a Requirement of Ukrainian Education Legislation”. The lecturer introduced the students to the Declaration on Academic Integrity of Students of the Separate Structural Subdivision “Odesa Technical Professional College of Odesa National University of Technology”.
Hlib Nilov presented a video prepared in advance. During the conversation, they discussed the meaning of the concept of “academic integrity”, its basic principles, the reasons for violations of academic integrity and the types of punishment for academic dishonesty. After discussing this issue, the students came to the conclusion that it is necessary to improve skills in working with sources of information and to learn to form one’s own opinion and vision. After all, honestly obtaining a quality education is the key to one’s own success.
